We have worked hard to make 2014 our best yet!
Please donate at http://invertigodance.org/support and help us make 2015 just as amazing!
Here are some 2014 highlights: Performance: Our biggest show yet After It Happened sold out a 3-week run at the Odyssey Theatre and was given rave reviews by the critics, including the Top 10 Best of Los Angeles Theatre by Bitter Lemons. We brought free dance to over 6,500 audience members in our partnership with the Independent Shakespeare Co. and performed to a sold-out Ford Amphitheatre. Dancing Through Parkinson's: 650 people came to our Dancing Through Parkinson's classes, workshops and presentations. We expanded to a new location, and now provide 2 weekly classes that emphasize community, strength, balance and joy every week. Invert/ED education program: We reinvigorated our education program this year with a 10-week residency through the Music Center and a 10-week residency for students with special needs through the Kayne/Eras School. In addition, we taught 6 master classes and workshops for a wide variety of schools and provided a professional performance opportunity for 10 students as a prelude to After It Happened.
Your generosity is crucial in making dance accessible to thousands of people, from 6 to 96 years old, in Los Angeles!
For the rest of December, we have a matching donor who will double your gift! Every dollar you give counts for two! Please help us reach our goal of $30,000 so we can launch into 2015 with grace and strength - we cannot do it without you!
